Quiet Hearts
Where Grief Is Seen. Hope Is Held.
Quiet Hearts is a community-centered gathering series created by Shanti's Promise to create intentional space for grief that is often carried quietly. Through compassionate conversation, reflection, education, and connection, each gathering honors a different grief experience while creating room to feel seen, supported, and less alone.

Why This Gathering
Reproductive grief can take many forms, and not all of them are easily recognized or openly discussed. It may follow infertility or challenges with IVF, pregnancy loss, or a medical diagnosis such as fibroids, endometriosis, or cancer. It may come after a hysterectomy or other medical treatment that changes your relationship with your body, fertility, or the possibility of pregnancy. It may also be the grief of having one child and learning that another may not be possible.
For some, the loss is even harder to name. Maybe you were unsure whether you wanted children, but now the choice feels as though it has been made for you. Maybe changes to your body or reproductive health have left you questioning your identity, your future, or whether you are somehow less than.
Quiet Hearts was created to make room for these experiences, too. Your grief does not have to fit neatly into a category to deserve acknowledgment. Whatever your reproductive journey has looked like, or has not looked like, your worth has never been determined by your ability to become pregnant, give birth, or become a parent. You are enough.
What to Expect
Quiet Hearts is designed to be an intimate and supportive space where you can participate at your own comfort level. There is no expectation to share more than you feel comfortable sharing. This gathering is an opportunity to pause, reflect, connect, and simply be present with whatever you may be carrying.
Guided Conversation
Compassionate discussion exploring reproductive grief, loss, identity, and the experiences that can accompany changes in reproductive health.
Reflection
Intentional opportunities to pause and reflect on your own experience, with space to process in ways that feel meaningful to you.
Breathwork
A guided breathwork experience offering an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with your body, and explore grounding practices.
Connection & Resources
Space for connection with others who may understand parts of your experience, along with resources to support you beyond the gathering.
Important Information
Quiet Hearts is a community-based grief gathering intended to provide education, reflection, connection, and support. It is not psychotherapy, group therapy, or a substitute for individualized mental health care.
Participation is voluntary, and you are always welcome to engage at your own comfort level. You will never be required to share personal details about your reproductive health, medical history, or grief experience.
Because conversations may include sensitive topics related to reproductive health, infertility, pregnancy loss, medical treatment, and grief, we encourage you to consider what feels supportive for you when deciding whether to attend.
Come as you are. There is space here for your story, your grief, and whatever you may be carrying.
